The tea liquor is a brilliant, transparent golden hue, offering the signature "rock sugar sweetness" characteristic of authentic Bingdao tea upon the first sip. It features an elegant, lingering aroma with a powerful yet refined aftertaste (hui gan) that coats the palate. Tea-to-Water Ratio: We suggest a ratio of approximately 1:20 or 1:30. For example, use about 5–8g of tea leaves for a 150ml vessel.

• Water Temperature: Use boiling water between 95°C and 100°C. As this raw Pu-erh has been aged for nearly a decade, high temperatures are essential to awaken its deep aged character and forest-like essence.

• Rinsing (Awakening the Tea): Pour boiling water over the leaves and discard it immediately. This step "wakes up" the leaves and is not for drinking.

• Steeping Time:

• 1st to 4th Infusion: Steep for about 5–10 seconds before pouring. This preserves the brilliant, golden transparency of the tea.

• 5th Infusion onwards: Gradually increase the steeping time by 5–10 seconds for each subsequent brew.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Look for a clear, vibrant golden hue in the tea soup.

• Palate: Pay close attention to the signature "rock sugar sweetness" on the tip of your tongue, followed by a powerful yet refined "Hui Gan" (sweet aftertaste) and lingering salivation.
